I will be honest; I came here by chance. And when I spotted an ad for November contests, I didn’t believe a site would be able to give things away no catch. Well I was wrong, so with this is an attempt to explain what MMOABC as to offer. Conder this a testimonial, use as you please MMOABC/New Gen Media. Thanks for the site and service.

Home Page: The first thing I see is the picture box, not sure what it is called, with ads about each contest. This is a great feature because it gives readers the option to quick check an item if they are short on browsing time. Next is “News” I love the new box because along with confirming things I have read on other sites “Such as blizzard merge or Grando Espada going free” it also give me incite to things I have yet to know about MMO’s in general such as Blizzards possible challenges in ’08. Along with this there is the list of games they “Support” some I have played others I have not. Items like Gamer ranking, Guilds and blogs are a bonus.

News: Mainly an extension of the front page, the News sections also shows the reader some popular tags used on the right hand side of the page. Fortunately MMO related sites occupy the ad space, which doesn’t distract me from the main sites purpose.

Guilds Page: This is a really cool feature; at first you can search through guilds with the various methods like name, country, and game. Or you can create your own, and recruit members. Secondly, under this is a section, which displays the top guilds. If you create one, you sure have some competition with Nighters and Deathstalkers. Not only does the page allow you to see the guilds latest articles, but also announcements within the guild itself. If you play a game like WoW, the come on and create a guild page here, the get your guildys to sign up and join!

Gamer Page: On the left hand column of the page the top “Gamers” are displayed, based on the amount of MMO points he or she has. You can gain these by different means. The on displayed above this feature is inviting a friend, which will receive you 500 points! Within the center of this page is the “Latest Blogs” and my personal favorite. I love writing blogs, mainly about gaming news, and game reviews. I also love reading other peoples blogs. Like Michael’s about water graphics, this is my most frequently used feature on the site. Along with gamer rankings, and blogs, there is also the most popular pictures on the right hand side, and be low it, the top ten Hottest gamer (Guys and Girls). Followed by the newest gamers below this.
Groups Page: This gives me a myspace/facebook type of appeal, which I like. The ability to create a discussion group on topics within or outside for gaming is a nice idea. Along with that you can check out the freshest groups in the center, on the right hand side you can see the various different categories. The left hand side allows you to see the top 100 groups in “Most Popular, Most Active, and Hottest Groups” headings.

Pictures: This page is pretty self-explanatory; it shows hot pictures on right hand side with a section below it with for Wallpapers, screen shots, and pictures. In the center it shows the latest picture tags. Lastly on the left hand side links for Find Picture, Gamer Pictures, Wallpapers, Screenshots, and Pictures.

Flash Games: I love it when a forum has an arcade, but this surpasses any simple forum arcade. This page is full of games like rag doll avalanche and even PORTAL flash, which I love, this page is great for a fun little break from web browsing or mob killing. On the right there is “New Games” and a bunch of categories with the top games of each categories underneath. In the center section there are gamer comments and most popular games.

Forums & Shop Pages: What’s a good community without forums? The forums are color nicely and fit well with the sites feel. There are many categories for all kinds of MMO players, and beta testers alike. You may even find out about free games such as warmonger. The shop is a nice add-on, powered by PriceGrabber.com.
